The bonus for anglers who choose to fish Kaiarskons Lake is they can also target Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass. The outpost cabin at Kaiarskons also allows guests to access three exceptional portage lakes. Upper Furlong, Lower Furlong, and Smoulder Lakes just add to the adventure while staying at the outpost.

Our guests who want to experience great fishing with easy access are lodged at Halverson's Camp. Halverson's offers our guests very clean and comfortable accommodations in the heart of prime fishing. Lake of the Woods is well known for the many great fishing trips it has produced for anglers over the years. Whether you are looking to target the top predators Muskie and Pike or target the great eating walleye, Lake of the Woods should be on your list of fishing destinations. For the bass anglers you have the opportunity to target both smallmouth and largemouth. In recent years we have seen the interest in our jumbo perch increase because they truly do reach football status. Crappie fisherman enjoy excellent fishing especially during the spring but guests do target them throughout the summer with good success.
